Official statement from GLFS
The explosion of violence in the world, the rise of extremism and desire to react to terrorist acts which, in contempt of human life blindly kill innocent people, have led the Women Grand Lodge of Switzerland to reaffirm its fundamental values, even if it remains outside of any political debate.
The Women Grand Lodge of Switzerland adopts its country’s motto:“One for all, all for one”, thus expressing its solidarity with the victims. The GLFS declares its commitment to humanist values, which are the foundations of our culture and our civilization. It advocates freedom of conscience, respect for others, which begins with self-respect, and brotherly love.
In accordance with its values, the Grand Women's Lodge of Switzerland strongly opposes to any form of violence or attacks on human rights and dignity, specifically against women and children. She urges humanity's conscience to ensure the reign of Wisdom and Peace among all peoples of the earth.
